The Director General of Police S S Virk and Commissioner of Policeu00a0 Hasan Gafoor took a look at the sharp shooting Quick Reaction Team (QRT) on the occasion.u00a0u00a0u00a0

The police put several weapons on display .303, Glock pistols,u00a0 lethal AK-47s and carbines. A senior police inspector said, "Put an empty barrel against your forehead and you will feel tremendous pressure; it is
psychological."
After the QRT, Gafoor and Virk fired with both being very impressive. Five rounds and both hit their targets but Gafoor said, 'I need much more practice."
Virk claimed he was firing this weapon after many years, saying,u00a0 'You know, a 26/11 may come one day."u00a0
Memory lane
Virk said about his days in Punjab battling terrorists, "We had .303 guns then and they (the terrorists) had AK-47s. The gunfire would pin us down. It would take the terrorists a second to change the magazine and we would have to shoot them in that second."
A smiling Gafoor,u00a0 said he usually carried a Smith & Wesson revolver.
