They added that Divya, who was inside the hotel room with Gadoli at the time of his encounter, was in constant touch with her mother over the phone. And it was her mother who passed the information about Gadoli’s whereabouts to Gurgaon Police. A scrutiny of Divya’s Call Detail Record (CDR) revealed that she was in constant touch with her mother during her sojourn with Gadoli.

If sources are to be believed, then one of Gadoli’s friends had introduced him to Divya. This friend was allegedly taking instructions form Gurgaon Police. Once Divya managed to win Gadoli’s trust, the cops laid a honeytrap to execute the gangster.
The plan worked and Gurgaon Police located Gadoli’s whereabouts and started monitoring him. They tracked his movements from Gujrat to Mumbai via Rajasthan and finally nailed him at the Hotel Airport Metro in Marol on Feb 7. Sources claim it was Gadoli’s friend who tipped Gurgaon Police about his hideout in Mumbai, following which the alleged fake encounter was executed.
