Central Railway services were thrown out of gear on Wednesday after suburban local developed unit problems at Kurla at 3.46 pm. Around 10-15 trains were delayed as the down train was stranded at Kurla.

However, the unit problem was rectified and services were restored at 4.03 railway officials claimed.
A harried passenger, who boarded a 3.48 Dombivali train from CST station said,"The train did not move beyond Sandhurst road till 4.27 pm and it finally reached Byculla at 4.35 pm."
The troubles did not end there, passengers also had to bear with rats, the passenger added.
A lot of passengers left their journey when the train failed to move forward.
