That's when around 60 rooms in the hotel's heritage wing will open for first time since terror attacks
The 60 palace rooms and luxury grande rooms in the Taj's heritage wings that were destroyed during the terror attack will reopen on January 15.
The attack had severely damaged the heritage wing, particularly the fifth and sixth floors.
"The heritage wing is slated to reopen in stages. By January 15, we are aiming to re-open the palace and luxury grande rooms.
Guests can request for rooms on the second, third and fourth floor of the hotel by then," said a Taj spokesperson.

Staying at the old wing gives a better view of the Arabian Sea. I am eagerly waiting for the re-opening of the heritage wing," said Mehra.

As of now, out of 565 rooms at the hotel, 268 rooms are operating currently. The hotel has already restored 90 per cent of the artwork at the heritage hotel that was damaged.
Nine of the hotel's 11 restaurants are operational. The remaining two Wasabi and Harbour Bar will reopen today.
