Firangs held for flesh trade

Elena Rengtona Singatolina (24) from Khazakistan and two pimps Niranjan Rohani and Kapil Ravidas were caught red-handed by the Oshiwara police at 4am today for their involvement in flesh trade.

Elena Rengtona Singatolina (24) from Khazakistan and two pimps Niranjan Rohani and Kapil Ravidas were caught red-handed by the Oshiwara police at 4am today for their involvement in flesh trade.

The police arrested the trio by pretending to be potential customers. Elena had come to Mumbai on January 20 on a tourist visa and was staying with the pimps for the last few days.

Kiran Sonawane, senior police inspector from Oshiwara police station, said, "There is a huge rise in girls coming from countries like Russia and Siberia and indulging in flesh trade."
