A regular night of drinking with friends, led to the death of a man in Bhayander. In the tragic incident that occured early on Sunday, 25-year-old was killed by his friend for suggesting that he use urine with his whiskey, after the group ran out of water.

Chaubey, who runs a Chinese shop in Bhayander, was hit by his friend with a log and bled to his death. The police have identified the accused as 27-year-old Sandip Gavas who works as a labourer.

As per a report in the Times of India, Chaubey, Gavas, Vivek Singh, and two others were drinking at an industrial area in Goddev Naka when the incident occured. The report suggests that Gavas wanted to have one more drink at 2 am, but the group had run out of water.

Chaubey's light-hearted suggestion that Gavas mix his urine with the alcohol, was received with humour by the other members of the group. However, an angry Sandip Gavas picked up a log and hit Chaubey on the head in a fit of rage over the comment. Singh's attempt at stopping Gavas was not enough, but he too was hit by him.

The group soon fled the scene, leaving a bleeding Chaubey behind. While the accused was absconding for a while, the Navghar managed to nab him on Monday.
