A Shiv Sena worker Chandrashekhar Jadhav was injured after he was shot at Tagore Nagar, Vikhroli, on Thursday morning.

Police said the accused fired three rounds, of which, one hit Jadhav's shoulder. He is currently at Godrej Hospital and is stable, and the accused Abhay Singh, 22, has been arrested.

Police said around 7am, Jadhav, along with his son, had gone to Sai Baba Mandir in Tagore Nagar. When he stepped out of the mandir, Singh fired three rounds at him and one bullet hit his right shoulder. Passersby rushed him to the hospital, nabbed Singh and handed him over to the police.
