According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), rains have been observed over the Konkan region in the city since late Thursday evening as a depression over northeast & adjoining east-central the Arabian Sea moved east-northeastwards, weakened into a low-pressure area over the northeast Arabian Sea and adjoining south Gujarat coast on Thursday.
People have now taken to Twitter to post memes and jokes about the current weather conditions in Mumbai. While some wondered when will the monsoon end, others asked if they time-travelled back to July!
