Train services on Central Railway were disrupted early in the morning due to rail fractures

Train services on Central Railway were disrupted early in the morning due to rail fractures.

There was rail fracture on the Harbour Line between Vashi and Mankhurd from 9.20 to 9.30 am.

As a result 3 services were delayed by 5 to 10 minutes.

This affected services drastically as well as resulted in crowding at stations.

Similarly there was rail fracture on slow line between Diva and Mumbra from 10.20 to 11.05 am. "A Kalyan-bound local was held up while slow line services were diverted on fast line between Diva and Mulund", said a CR official.

Due to this few services on main line section are running 10 to 15 minutes behind schedule.
