Pawan Hans chopper crash: Captain TK Guha laid to rest

Two days after Captain TK Guha’s body was brought to land, it was finally laid to rest yesterday afternoon. Pawan Hans Officials, members of the Army, Navy and officials of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) attended the funeral.

His body was brought to the Pawan Hans office for a guard of honour. Later, it was taken to a crematorium ground where his daughter Trishna (left), and her husband Sarthak performed the last rites. Nearly 200 hundred people including Guha’s family members, fellow pilots and officers were present for the funeral.

Guha was one of the two pilots on board a Pawan Hans chopper that crashed into the Arabian Sea on November 4. Rescue operations to find Captain E Samuel — Guha’s colleague on board — have been intensified.
