After the end of Thursday's proceedings it was finally decided that advocate Ejaz Naqvi will continue to represent both the accused Indians, Fahim Ansari and Sabauddin.
The case file was opened by public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam who listed 12 incidents with which Qasab had a direct involvement in seven and indirect involvement in five.
The cases where Qasab were directly involved included the hijacking and killing of the crew aboard the trawler Kuber, the massacre at CST station, firing within Cama Hospital and outside the premises, the Vile Parle taxi blast, the robbery of the Skoda and the encounter with the police at Girgaum Chowpatty.
The other five incidents where Qasab was indirectly involved included the firing at Leopold's cafu00e9 in Colaba, the incident at Taj Mahal Hotel and Palace, Nariman House killings, the shootout at Oberoi Hotel and the taxi blast at Mazgaon.
In all 1,820 witnesses, 756 articles and 1,350 documents form the prosecution's defence. The toll was registered at 166 dead and 294 injured.
