Two anonymous threat letters say he rigged the show to ensure Ashutosh won; also warn him not to protest against the release of uncle Pravin Mahajan's book
Bigg Boss 2 may be history as far as Rahul Mahajan is concerned, but his clear preference for fellow housemate Ashutosh Kaushik on the show has come back tou00a0him.

Last month, Rahul received a threatening letter that states that he fixed the show so that his favourite housemate Ashutosh (of Roadies fame) would be the eventual winner.
According to police sources, the letter, which Rahul received on April 24 at his Worli residence, goes on to state that Rahul did everything possible to ensure that Zulfi Sayed and Raja Chaudharyu00a0the other two finalists lost to Ashutosh.
The letter writer has demanded the final episode of Bigg Boss 2 be re-shot and Rahul return the money he had been paid for participating in the show.
Second letter
A second letter addressed to his mother Rekha and received later that week, reiterated the earlier statement and added that she and her family should not protest against Pravin Mahajan publishing his book on Pramod Mahajan.
Pravin was arrested for murdering Pramod in 2006 and is currently in jail. He has written a supposedly tell-all book that defames his dead brother.
On receipt of the letters, Rahul met Rakesh Maria, joint commissioner of police (Crime) and filed a complaint.
Security for Rahul and his family have been beefed up.
Confirmed Maria, "The threatening letters alleged Rahul rigged the show. The investigations are on in the case." The investigators are looking at rivals Rahul made by participating on the show.u00a0
