Interestingly, SRK has been shooting for My Name Is Khan in San Francisco Bay. The film is about the victimisation of a Muslim couple in America post 9/11.
The US has become increasing hostile towards Muslims after the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers.
It is believed that the actor was recognised by his fans, who created a furore at the aipor after he was detained.
The actor was later released after the Indian Embassy intervened.
