Yesterday, at 3 pm, some Samajwadi party (SP) members organised a protest against Mayawati at Azad Maidan. People were told to come forward and spit on Mayawati's posters at the maidan. The result was a shower of betel juice from paan-stained mouths on Mayawati's poster. It was called Thoo-Thoo Diwas or spitting day. Yuck. Think of all the germs these protestors spread by their actions. As if Mumbai was not dirty enough already. Thoo-roughly disgusting, is all one can say.
