"At around 12.40 pm, the Titwala train coming to CST railway station stopped due to some technical problems and did not pick up following which the train was vacated. It was subsequently moved to a workshop for repairs," said AK Singh, Public Relation Officer of Central Railway.
Though the officials are saying that the trains were running late by 15 to 20 minutes, the passengers waiting for trains on slow tracks, were stranded for more than half-an- hour.
"The train, which was plying on slow track, was withdrawn and services have been resumed," the official added.
