A fire broke out inside the Bata showroom on S V Road, Andheri (W) at 9.45 pm yesterday, which spread to the Metro showroom and ICICI Bank next to it.

The fire was caused due to a short circuit inside the Bata showroom.
The manager said, "Goods worth Rs 2 crore have been destroyed. We had just bought new stock." It took six fire engines and three water tankers to douse the fire.
