State, too, sees drop in cases, reports 2,026 fresh infections

After witnessing a significant jump in new cases and Test Positivity Rate (TPR) on Sunday, Mumbai’s fresh infections fell below 400 on Monday. As per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) report, 341 new cases were reported. The TPR was 1.20 per cent and the city recorded two deaths.
Both the deceased had comorbidities and were above 60 years of age.
