A constable was arrested and later released on bail for assaulting a 37-year-old man in Dadar, severely injuring his eye. The incident occurred on February 14, when the man went to question his cousin, who was allegedly harassing his mother.

A constable, who happened to be the cousin’s friend, punched him in the eye. The victim sustained 15 stitches, and may have to undergo more surgeries. The Shivaji Park police has booked the man’s cousin Rohan Thakur and constable Sujit Gaikwad.
