The incident took place at Kattar Lane in Girgaon area of south Mumbai when some parts of construction material suddenly collapsed at around 8 pm

A 7-year-old girl was critically injured after parts of construction materials collapsed in an under construction building on Sunday night, the BMC said.


The injured girl was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, the civic body said in a statement.  


She has been identified as Krishna Patel. Her condition is said to be critical, it said.

According to the civic disaster control cell, the incident took place at Kattar Lane in Girgaon area of south Mumbai when some parts of construction material suddenly collapsed at around 8 pm. After the parts collapsed, Krishna was trapped under the material. After the incident, the local police, Mumbai Fire Brigade officials, local BMC ward staff rushed to the spot.

It said, Krishna Patel has been admitted in Reliance Hospital. She was admitted in the Intensive Critical Unit of the hospital.
