The drive, which started on Saturday, will be held in Dharavi and Worli. Surana Sethia Hospital along with ICICI Lombard started the 24x7 initiative, in which they plan to sign up more than 30,000 people in less than seven days.
Along with registration, 4,500 people will be vaccinated free of cost. “There are still doubts in people’s minds on vaccination. We are educating and encouraging them to take the jab. Along with the medical form that they need to fill while taking the vaccine, we have incorporated a sign-up form too where we make them understand the importance of vaccination and following Covid-19 protocols. By signing it, they take the oath of getting vaccinated and following the Covid-19 norms,” said a doctor, who is part of the drive. The drive plans to conduct 4,500 vaccinations a day.
