Local train services on the down line between Ambernath and Karjat were disrupted on Thursday morning due to a technical problem, Central Railway (CR) informed in a tweet. 


Taking to Twitter, Central Railway said, "Due to a technical problem in S-3 CSMT-Karjat local between Ambernath and Badlapur on Dn line, local services on Ambernath -Karjat section are delayed. Kindly bear with us. Staff rectifying the problem."



The CR further confirmed that the issue was resolved and the train was restarted at 7:50 am. "Technical problem in S3 local attended by staff and the train re-started at 7.50 am," CR tweeted.

The Central Railway ferries nearly 40 lakh commuters everyday. It operates more than 1,800 suburban services on its various routes, including the Main Line (CSMT to Kasara/Khopoli), Harbour Line (CSMT to Goregoan/Panvel), Trans-Harbour Line (Vashi-Thane/Panvel) and Bamandongri-Belapur/Seawood line.
