Mumbai sees 3,568 new Covid-19 cases, and 10 deaths

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) report, 3,568 cases were reported with a TPR of 7.15 percent on Saturday. The city also saw 10 deaths.


All the 10 Covid fatalities had comorbidities. While two of them were in the age of 40-60, the rest were above the age of 60.


Around 84 per cent of the patients who tested positive on Saturday were asymptomatic. Out of 485 people who were hospitalised, 76 are on the oxygen beds.


The doubling rate has improved and now  stands  at 105 days.

The state saw a marginal dip in the number of cases as well as the number of deaths.  As per the report, 46,393 new cases and 48 deaths were reported across the state.

The state’s case-fatality rate continued to dip and was at 1.9 per cent. A total of 30,795 people were discharged during the day. The state’s active cases were at 2,79,930 on Saturday.
