Mumbai sees fewer than 500 Covid-19 cases for the second day

Presently, Mumbai has 4,783 active Covid-19 patients

Mumbai logged fewer than 500 cases  the second day in a row on Tuesday. The city reported 447 new Covid-19 cases and only one fresh fatality on Tuesday, as per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) bulletin.

The city’s positivity rate is 1.29 per cent. In the past 24 hours, 34,543 Covid-19 tests were conducted, nearly 5,000 fewer than the previous day. At last 798 patients were discharged. The city’s rate of recovery is 98 per cent, as per the bulletin. The doubling rate improved to 808 days.
