On Saturday, the collective water stock in the seven reservoirs that supply drinking water to the city is now at 99.01 pc, stated the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official.

As per the data shared by the civic body on October 7, the water level in Tansa is at 97.72 per cent. At Modak-Sagar, 95.04 per cent of water stock is available.
In Middle Vaitarna 99.20 per cent, Upper Vaitarna 100 pc, Bhatsa 99.58 per cent, Vihar 100 per cent and Tulsi 98.84 per cent of useful water level.

The seven lakes have 14,32,997 million litre of water on October 3, against the full capacity, which is around 14,47,363 million litre.
Meanwhile, according to the IMD, Mumbai will witness a cloudy sky during morning hours.
Informing about it on X, BMC wrote, "Generally cloudy sky during morning hours becoming partly cloudy sky towards afternoon/evening in Mumbai city and suburbs."
