As per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai is expected to experience a generally cloudy sky with the possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall at isolated locations in the city and its suburbs.

In terms of rainfall received from 08:00 hrs on July 4 to 08:00 hrs on July 5, the city recorded 9 mm, the eastern suburbs 35 mm, and the western suburbs 34 mm. Residents are advised to remain cautious and stay informed, especially in flood-prone and low-lying areas.
