A 15-year-old boy from Bangalore was arrested and later released on bail for allegedly sending an email, threatening to carry out serial blasts in Mumbai, to a news channel here, police said today.

"The email was received by the channel on May 25 after which officials of the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell (CCIC) began tracing its origins," they said.
