The situation further improved over the past seven days with a number of cases and fatalities coming down across the state. <p>On October 27, Mumbai reported 420 new cases along with four deaths. Meanwhile, Maharashtra saw an increase in cases for the second consecutive day. The state`s Covid-19 fatalities also saw a marginal rise. As per the state health department report, 1,485 cases were reported along with 38 deaths.</p>
