Producer Nitin Bora's wife shocked to see Rs 14 lakh, 50 tolas of gold and 3 kg of silver stolen from bungalow

Saturday was a dark night for land developer and film producer Nitin M Bora, whose house at Vir Bhadra Nagar, Baner, was burgled of around Rs 14 lakh in cash, 50 tolas of gold and three kg silver.

Bora owns three cars Wagon R, Skoda and Chevrolet Chativa and recently invested around Rs 60 lakh for his first film Umang as a producer, where he will launch his 12-year-old son Prince as an actor. He is the producer of the Marathi serial Ghar Sansar on Sayadri and has co-produced tele-serial Dakshata.u00a0
Kanchan, his wife said, ''I left the house on Saturday around noon and returned on Sunday to collect some clothes. The front door latch was broken and I sent the driver upstairs before me. The wardrobes of every room were broken and things lay helter-skelter. The house was in a mess.''
Bora had been shooting at the Dada Kondke Studio, Sinhgad Road, with his son and the entire family had been staying there.
The thieves had cut the fence and smashed bedroom window to enter. Police investigations suspect it was a group of four to five people, but no arrest has been made so far.
