Delhi police says Neetu Solanki would often beat up prime accused Raju Gehlot over petty issues

'Murder victim had a quick temper'

Did Neetu Solanki end up in a carry bag at New Delhi Railway Station because she had a short fuse? On Thursday DCP Crime Ashok Chand made a startling revelation saying that Neetu used to beat up her live-in partner Raju Gehlot often over trivial matters.

Cops suspect that possibly Neetu picked up an argument with him during which Raju killed her in a fit of rage. However, the motive is still not clear.

Meanwhile, the Crime Branch has issued a lookout notice against Raju Gehlot, the main accused in the Neetu Solanki murder case.

The police had sent a letter to the Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO) regarding Gehlot, asking them to issue a lookout notice to stop him from fleeing the country. The police have also sent his photograph to various police stations across the country. The police have also increased vigil at railway stations and bus stands and sought the help of other states to nab the accused.

Camera-shy cops
Excited by his passion for photography, Harsh Ranjan Mishra an Animation student with a private institute tried to click some exclusive pictures of the room where Raju Gehlot and Neetu Solanki lived together. But when cops noticed him they snatched his camera. Harsh a native of Lucknow lives on the same street in Ashram area of south Delhi where Neetu was reportedly killed.

"On Wednesday I noticed crime team in the street breaking down the doors. I fished out my camera to click some exclusive photographs. I got some pictures. After a cop objected I turned back. But as soon as I reached my house, a Crime Branch official reached there following me and snatched the camera," said Harsh.
