Bloggers are rallying behind the 'pink Chaddi campaign' launched by a blogger which has become a hit among netizens.

This bloggeru00a0seems to be enthused by the campaign and is urging others to join in.

"If you're in desh, go ahead and mail one in. Not quite sure if mine's going to reach by Friday the 13th to Bangalore, and perhaps I may just ask a friend there to mail one in for me, but yea, go ahead sign up, blog about it, email forward out to all your girlfriends, do whatever. Whatever you do, just please don't shut up and remain silent. That's just so wrong and horribly frikkin' frustrating," says the blogger.

Blogger Johny MLu00a0wonders why do these "right wing fundamentalists" say that these festivals are against Indian culture.

He feels that our "secular democratic protestors" should send them not fresh pink panties. "But the oldest used undergarments by both the gender," because "pink is associated with all what is tender and love. "Pink undergarments are inspirational."

"So let's stick to used, rotten, tattered, battered, stained and elastically unviable undergarments for our Gandhigiri," says the blogger sarcastically.

"Gifting panties may seem like a softer option than dung bombing his house but it makes a strong statement on our collective lack of 'shame', the one quality he's trying so desperately to instill in us," says Anindita Sengupta in this blog for young feminists.

This bloggeru00a0is more scathing in attacking Muthalik: "If there was a campaign to tie him to a tree and throw pink marbles at him I'd be happy to participate with gusto. Or participate in a march to have him declared a known goonda and disturber of peace and have him arrested under some act similar to the TADA."

The blogger has a different idea: "Muthalik calls himself the leader of the Shri Ram Sene and as far as I remember the most famous Sene of Shri Ram, the one that he led to defeat Ravana, consisted entirely of Vanaras or monkeys. Now that explains it all, doesn't it? So let us send them pink ribbons for their tails or lots of bananas."

The blogger is also furious over the use of Ram: "He should be locked up for defaming Rama's name. What gives him the right to indulge in his goondagiri and use Rama's name to justify it all. Valmiki's Rama was a hero who hesitated to use force even against evil demons like Tataka because she was a woman and a true warrior was not supposed to use his force against a woman."

"If you and your Rama Sene comrades have the balls and guts, then go and fight against terror and Taliban. Serve the country working in the borders, instead of putting ur hands on women and trying to teach culture," thus goes a comment to the above post.

"These power-drunk maniacs fail to comprehend a relationship between a boy and girl which isn't husband-wife or brother-sister. They fail to understand that there is no difference between a married couple and couple in love. They fail to understand that "love" is not a "Western" concept - but that it is the very essence of what our existence in this cosmos is about," says this post.u00a0u00a0

"I voted for BJP too. NEVER AGAIN! Advani for PM? Guys you need to unite and make sure that day never comes. I'm a Hindu, but I love my Muslim and Christian friends. And Hinduism is NOT about force and violence," says a comment to the above post.
