Prime Minister Narendra Modi was sworn in for his third consecutive term on Sunday, marking a significant milestone as he matched Jawaharlal Nehru’s achievement of securing victory in three successive general elections. 

The ceremony took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan and was attended by dignitaries from India’s neighboring countries and the Indian Ocean Region, reflecting India’s commitment to its ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy and ‘SAGAR’ vision.
