A 17-year-old boy was burnt to death when a fire broke out in the bakery he was working in last afternoon around 4 pm. Another boy escaped with burn injuries on his back

Au00a017-year-old boy was burnt to death when a fire broke out in the bakery he was working in last afternoon around 4 pm. Another boy escaped with burn injuries on his back.

The incident took place at Samata Bakery near Juna Bazaar in Mangalwar Peth. The deceased was Ibrahim Ansari and the boy who was injured is Subhash Patel (16). The police said the bakery was run by one Javed Ansari.

When the fire broke out, five workers were inside the bakery. Ibrahim was standing at the counter on the ground floor when an electric circuit caught fire.u00a0 Patel who was on the first floor jumped out of the window and was injured in the process.u00a0The locals in the area stepped in to help. Fire brigade officials removed 10 gas cylinders kept inside the bakery.
