The guide tells you about Seva cafe where customers are treated like family members and food is paid for by the person who came before you

Seva Cafe was started as an experiment on sharing the joy of giving and selfless service. On a certain day, volunteers cook simple vegetarian meals and serve people as part of their family, who can opt to pay as per their capacity or wish for the next person. The meal is more of a token of love paid for in full by previous guests and the money collected is donated for social service.

Sheetal Sanghvi, Founder, Urban Ashram, states that there are such cafes in Ahmedabad and in California as well. He even worked at Ahmedabad's Seva Cafu00e9 for three months.

"This is your chance to do some good by tapping the generosity chain. By doing good to someone new, you are paying it forward instead of paying it back," explains Sanghvi.

Arvind Bijwe, Founder, One Life Club, who will be hosting the Seva Cafu00e9 adds that there are plans to start mobile Seva cafes in different cities. "The amazing thing is you don't know who is cooking and where the money is coming from, but someone pays for you and you pay for someone."
