Allegedly, the farmers accompanying Deve Gowda for the ongoing protests at the corridor were fake and rented.
The farmers who claim to be genuine from Hemmigepura have decided to stage indefinite protests in front of Gowda's residence to make Gowda-Kheny spar murkier.
They will demand that Gowda to call off protests that are being carried out along with farmers using their credentials. They have relevant land records to prove their credentials.

We will protest against misuse of our credentials." The group of farmers set to start their protest in the next 3 to 4 days, will camp in front of Gowda's Padmanabhnagar residence. They will cook food and sleep in temporary sheds to be put up there.
However, the protest that will begin with Ashok Kheny's return from US has got more to do with things other than just the misuse of credentials, said a source close to the Kheny.
NICE, which is hit by the ongoing protest is said to have suffered a loss of over Rs 5 crore due to the blockage of corridor from Mysore road till Kanakpura road.u00a0 The protest is mainly to save further losses, the source added.
"Needless to say that the protest that is to start off is an extended part of Kheny-Gowda spar," said the source.
"The protest in front of Gowda's residence is to pressurise him to take back his protest as Kheny is suffering a lot of loss everyday due to it."
But NICE officials deny this.u00a0 A NICE spokesperson said, "It's true that those protesting in our corridor are not genuine farmers from Hemmigepura.
But it's not true that Ashok Kheny is behind the protest said to start off in front of Gowda's residence."
