The new snack joint at Aundh serves an eclectic mix of momos, sandwiches, cold salads and soft drinks at affordable prices. Hence, its no wonder that it caters to the hordes of college-going crowds who survive on their fare and are an ever-present sight at the eatery.
Ambience: Mystic Momos is a small and simple snack joint. The only eye-catching element about it is the bright red and yellow walls. Wrought-iron tables and chairs dot the eatery while the kitchen and cash counter are at the far end of the room.u00a0u00a0

We ordered: The joint offers both veg and non-veg items such as momos, sandwiches and cold salads. The Chicken Pasta in Red Sauce (Rs 60) was just average. It was made from penne tossed with fresh capsicum, tomatoes and grated chicken and was served cold with an awful spicy red sauce. Thankfully, their Macaroni 'n' Cheese Salad (Rs 50) was quite tasty and included capsicum, tomatoes and pineapple. It was served with grated cheese and tasted sweet. The Steamed Chicken Momos (Rs 60) were served hot and tasted delicious. It included five pieces of succulent chicken. We had to throw away the stuffed Veg Sandwich (Rs 40) as the brown bread was stale and the stuffing was cold and tasteless.

Service: Since it's a self-service eatery, no one offers food, water or even the menu card. A sole attendant prepares and serves the food, which mercifully doesn't take too long to get served.
