Alleging that Modi had stooped to a new low in vendetta politics, AAP leaders and workers took out protest rallies in the state capital and other places.
Referring to the raid by the CBI at the office of Rajendra Kumar, the principal secretary to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, party leaders alleged that the BJP-led cental government was rattled by the growing popularity of AAP and, hence, was indulging in vendetta and harassment.
The party's convener for Avadh zone, Avinash Tripathi, told IANS that "after being exposed on the demolition drive at Shakur Basti in the national capital, the central government has begun to victimise the AAP government in Delhi and its officials".
He also warned the central government of dire consequences if it did not immediately stop its brand of vendetta politics.
"People of the country will teach Modi and his party a lesson like it did in Delhi and Bihar polls," he said.
