Anita Raj's husband booked

Yesteryear actress Anita Raj's husband Sunil Hingorani has been booked by the Khar police

He is out on bail after being produced in Bandra court on Saturday. Hingorani allegedly sent lewd text messages to a woman residing in a society in Pali Hill, Bandra, where he also lives.

The complainant in her police statement said that he had sent her lewd messages and emails. She then approached a local Mahila Ayog, which sent a letter to Khar police to investigate the matter. The police found the said messages and emails after investigating the matter, and Hingorani was arrested on Friday.

Senior police inspector Mangesh Pote of Khar police station said, “Hingorani was charged under Sections 451 (house trespass), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.”
