Dreams should never be put on the backburner, no matter how old you are or how much experience you lack. That's what we figured on a visit to Ensemble. The fashion boutique is the brainchild of a young fashion freak turned entrepreneur Pooja Gaglani, a 21-year-old graduate, who started the store with the help of her interior designer sister Namita.

"We are very fashion-conscious and wanted to start something fresh with innovative items for those who love to dress up," says Pooja. "Ensemble is a French word that means elegant wear and that's the fashion statement that comes across from our garments as well," she adds. Spend a couple of minutes with this enthusiastic fashion freak and she will even give you tips on how to look chic, what to wear and how to wear it.
The store has a black and white theme and hence, everything from the visiting cards to the curtains of the changing room are in those two colours. There are two wooden swings that hang on the walls displaying trendy bags. The clothes are divided in different sections and displayed neatly.
On offer are casual tops, T-shirts, formal and semi-formal dresses, denims, pants, shorts, footwear and accessories such as bags, caps, belts and neckpieces. You will find no mass-produced goods here as each piece is hand-picked from Korea, Sri Lanka, China and Indonesia.u00a0u00a0
We loved their accessories, especially the caps, necklaces, earrings, shoes and bags. Add some spunk to your attire by sporting their bright red and yellow bags. You can experiment with their bright fur caps or go for the regular cotton ones. Their stilettos brought us to the brink of buying a pair for ourselves, but we resisted the temptation.
The casual tops looked overpriced compared to the plain designs on offer. But we loved the cotton tube tops styled with satin belts that can be worn with denims. They come in vibrant colours like green, pink, yellow and violet. Even the long formal tops looked smart and we spotted a few satin Kaftans in pastel shades. The satin party dresses in black and white are very eye-catching and stand out from the regular offerings.u00a0
All in all, this is the perfect place to head for some young, stylish clothes that will brighten your wardrobe.
