"The BJP condemns the terror attack in Dhaka. The world needs to unite against IS as the terrorist organisation is anti-humanity," BJP national secretary Srikant Sharma told IANS.
"The world should pledge to end this venomous organisation," he added.
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley also condemned the Dhaka attack.
"I am saddened by the killing of innocent people in the terror attack on a cafe in Dhaka, Bangladesh. My prayers are with bereaved families," he tweeted.
Islamic State terrorists slaughtered at least 20 foreigners, including an Indian woman, with sharp weapons before security forces rescued 13 hostages and gunned down six attackers on Saturday morning, ending the night-long siege at a Dhaka cafe popular with both locals as well as foreign visitors.
