Shah Rukh not ready to reduce his fees. He says country's economic condition could've been worse
An actor had once said that only Shah Rukh Khan and sex sell in India. Well, they sell during the recession too. At least the King Khan does and he is in no mood to scale down his price tag to suit the slump.

In the Capital to launch the latest edition of a watch brand, Shah Rukh made it clear that he will not reduce his fees because of the recession, which he termed "a correction". "It's not recession, depression or downturn.
Other than his economy lecture, King Khan also seemed to be in a mood to settle scores with Aamir. "There is no tiff between Aamir and me but I certainly need to discuss certain comments that were made against me, which I am not taking lightly," said Shah Rukh Khan, clearing the air about the Khan war.
"We will keep picking at each other till the time it's taken positively by both of us," added the superstar, while giving sneak peeks into his soon-to-be-released production venture, Billu Barber.
When asked why his special appearance in the film is garnering all the limelight, Shah Rukh said, "I need to market my product well. Once you watch the film you will know that the required emphasis has been put while sketching out the roles of Billu and Samar Khan. In fact, my role is not a special appearance. It's very important to the film."
What about his shoulder injury? "I am just waiting for Billu Barbar to hit the screen and then I'll go for a surgery. Currently, I am not fit enough to even hug any one of you," beamed the star. So will the Badshah be fit enough for a date this Valentine's Day? May be not! "If the film flops, my producer Gauri Khan will kick me out of the house. So Valentine is certainly not on my mind right now. As such, I am not fit and on a date you're not supposed to be hurt."
