Last week, indie music fans were treated to a fantastic performance by Indian Ocean at Bandra Amphitheatre. Prior to that, we've seen Rekha Bharadwaj, jazz saxophonist and rapper Soweto Kinch, British indie band Mumford & Sons perform here.

But not too many gigs included our homegrown Metal bands. That's going to change with the Boxing Day gig Rock Fort 2010, organised by Queen's Entertainment.
The last Rock concert of the year will feature four bands -- Demonic Resurrection (DR), Bhayanak Maut (BM), Devoid and Bloodshed -- will perform one-hour sets each at the concert. Rahul Hariharan from BM promises the band will play almost everything they have to offer and some more songs from Amidst The Chaos covers that they've made their own.
Sahil Mahika, aka Demonstealer, from DR also promises a line up that includes most songs from their latest album Return To Darkness. "After a long time, we're going to be performing a long, headlining slot at a concert in Mumbai. We will also have two guest performers joining us for a couple of songs," reveals Demonstealer. Most other bands too have a surprise performance in store for their fans.
