Ever heard of Sufi Kathak? The creator and only practising exponent of the unique form, Manjari Chaturvedi, performs in the city tonight

Sufi Kathak as a dance form is pretty unexplored in the country so far, yet it exudes the same ethereality of a classical Indian dance. Creator Manjari Chaturvedi aims to spread knowledge on the classical dance form. We lift the curtains on the dance performance that's being organised by the Indian Cancer society.

Sacred steps
The performance will see Manjari paying a tribute to the formless almighty through her dance. "It encapsulates the core nature of Sufism by remembering God. The dance essentially showcases formlessness through a form," explains Manjari.

Qawaali quotient
