Day 2 of the Symbiosis fest has filmstars, star performers enthralling the audience

If you thought that college fests were all about classroom debates, volleyball matches topped with a rock show, then students of the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies are here to redefine fests for you. On the second day of SCMS's annual fest Sympulse 2011, the students not only managed to get big Bollywood names to visit the campus but have celebrities who charge a few lakhs for merely a couple of minutes perform for two hours at their festival.

The day started off with the solo dance competition, where 16 different colleges had sent their representatives to participate. While Bollywood choreographer Remo D'souza was the star attraction of the event, the performances were also quite innovative and kept the audience kept them on the edge of their seats.

The highlight of the day for the students was a film shooting on the campus. Celebrity judge Remo D'souza shot his directorial debut F.A.L.T.U. on the campus as a part of the festival's event and brought his lead actors Jackky Bhagnani, former Miss India Puja Gupta and TV show host Angad Bedi at the fest to meet the students.

The students had saved the best for the last as the festival wrapped up its second day with a musical night at the Raga Lawns in Koregaon Park where singer Shankar Mahadevan performed live foru00a0 nearly one and a half hour.

The event also had a few glitches. The music system did not work for a major part of the solo dance event.
Also, the food court arrangement wasn't too good .

Trisha Satra, a second year student of Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication said the quality of food at last year's festival was much better.
