At least 28 of the 132 students who appeared for the exams got A+ grade, said Neelam Chakravarty, principal of DPS. "Our students were confident about their success in the exams and so why we took admissions requests for standard XI, even before the results were announced, on the basis of their preliminary exam results," she said.
Jaya Venkatraman, principal of DAV Public School, said 63 out of 261students got A+ grade, though the number was lower than last year's result, when about 90 students had achieved the same grade. Koyna Zaveri, managing trustee of BG Academy, said that one student from the standard X batch had scored A+ grade.
