Based on a tip off by the MiD DAY reporters, CCB officials raided a massage parlour in Koramangala and busted a prostitution racket and rescued four women in the process.

On receiving complaints by anonymous readers about 'erotic massages' available at Elite Body Massage Parlour, MiD DAY passed on the information to Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Alok Kumar, following which he assigned a team of officers from the Anti-Human Trafficking cell of the CCB to discreetly inspect the establishment. The parlour had several outlets in the city and was being run in partnership by two persons.
Erotic massage
The officers reached the parlour at 3 pm on Monday and made an appointment for an 'erotic massage'. While finalising the details, the owner of the parlour asked if the cop posing as a customer had a particular preference of a masseuse and also whether 'door delivery' would be required.
Women rescued
After meeting both owners at Indira Nagar 100 feet road and Koramangala 8th Block, an official search operation was conducted, during which four women were rescued. The operation also revealed that such erotic massages are quite common in the city. The same network operates several outlets and the CCB is now trying to get more information about their other hideouts.
