He said this while replying to supplementary queries raised on Calling Attention Notice, moved by Vinayak Mete of BJP in the Legislative Council and announced that cases will be registered under the provisions of Organised Crime Act.
The MoS for Social Justice said the alleged misappropriation took place between 2011 and 2013.
"The probe conducted by a retired judge revealed that the corporation's former managing director Ravindra S Kamble and general manager Pramod N Chavan have been prima facie found guilty," the minister said.
Kamble said, "128 cases of misappropriation were found against five to seven families from Beed and Ahmednagar district."
Cheques were allegedly issued in the name of Beed District Central Cooperative Bank manager and that too in his personal savings bank account from where they encashed later, he said.
Both Ravindra Kamble and Pramod Chavan have been suspended, the minister said, adding "After final report of judicial probe is received, the government will take strict action and file criminal cases against the officers and employees."
The functioning of the corporation will not be affected due to CID probe, he added.
