In a letter to the UP government, the Union Home Ministry also expressed its unhappiness over the security provided to Rahul Gandhi by the state government.
The letter said Rahul's security had been compromised on several occasions by the UP government.
The Home Ministry also cited the lack of police presence on the national highway and instances of unknown vehicles entering his cavalcade during Rahul's tour.
The Uttar Pradesh Police has reassured that this time round there will be no such failings on the security front.
