They are back and they are back with a bang. The Ice Age family has still not lost its humour, creativity and the wackiness. Just that you have new members this time from puny Buk to the giant dinosaurs.
What is it about: The story takes a twist this time with Scrat finding love and no it's not the acorn! Mannie and Ellie the mammoths are expecting a baby mammoth. And Sid gets a little broody and calls in the trouble. And there is this big underground land of dinosaurs, which has to be explored. There is no much of a great story line, but who cares as long as you have rich entertainment, which will tickle every bone, muscle and hair of your body?
What's Hot: The rib-tickling humour, the animation, dialogue delivery and the whole Ice-Age Family!
What's Not: Story gets a bit mindless (Dinosaurs living underground??) but we are not complaining.
Verdict: A complete entertainer and a must-watch! Atleast to know whom does Scrat end up with!!
Just not worth it
Chamkaisi Chindi Udaysi (Kannada)

Director: A R Babu

Seem like actor Komal thinks that dialogue delivery is acting. So what's really funny in the movie is the actor's lack of acting skills. Also director A R Babu does not seem to be serious about the script. It runs for 2 hours 48 minutes without any comic sense whatsoever.
What's it about: Don Janny (Shobaraj) kills Pratap(Dharma) for diamonds, but finds them with Pratap's sister Kamala (Nidhi Subbayya) who lives in Malaysia. Ganesh (Kiran) loves Kamala, and tries to find her. So he tries get help from Seena (Komal) who wishes to go to Malaysia, find Kamala and get Ganesh married to her. Other supposedly comedians join in between but they bore you.
What's Hot: Ashok Kashyp's camerawork is good and second half is not as bad. What's Not: Komal's acting is a bore and the other actors have not done justice to their roles.u00a0
Verdict: One of the movies which will make a mark in 100 worst movies list!
Mindless games
Film: Kambakkht Ishq
Star Cast: Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani, Kiron Kher
Director: Sabbir Khan
Rating: *
Theatres: PVR Cinmeas, Inox, Fame Shankarnag
What it's about: Viraj Shergill (Akshay Kumar) is as a playboy and stuntsman in Hollywood, while Simrita Rai (Kareena Kapoor), is a medical student, who abhors men. The duo meet when his brother and her sister get married. They instantly dislike each other, and the movie takes you through the hate-hate relationship for three unbearable hours. Comic relief is also provided by Lucky (Aaftab Shivdasani), a frowning husband to Kamini (Amrita Arora), who plays a hard-to-get bimbette, despite being married to Lucky.
What's hot: Akshay's muscles, Kareena's short dresses and the locales in some places are some of the saving graces. What's not: Everything from the word go. First of all, how does a struggling doctor who doesn't even have 5,000 dollars to perform her first surgery, flaunt her designer (read Prada) bags, shoes and outfits. The most outrageous part is that of Sim's watch being left in Viraj's abdomen while performing a surgery on him and how the watch keeps beeping the mangalam mantra throughout. Aargh! The storyline is utter crap, the sense of humour downright disgusting, ugly and miserable and the songs completely avoidable. In fact the whole film is worth a skip. One would wonder how stars like Kareena and Akshay, (not that they have not done it before) can agree on such senseless script and dialogues. And it's a pity that Denise Richards and Sylvestor Stallone had to share a few minutes in the film.u00a0
Verdict: Don't even think of making such a kambakth mistake of watching this movie.u00a0u00a0
