The 'chand' of Haryana politics is playing hide and seek. But, unlike his celestial namesake he has no takers.
Chander Mohan, who put his political career on the line to marry long time beloved Anuradha Bali alias Fiza, has gone underground to avoid queries why his own party as well as family have forsaken him.

The former Haryana deputy chief minister has been denied ticket by the Congress and Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) the party of his father Bhajan Lal has also snubbed him.
Congress sources in Chandigarh told MiD DAY that he is not meeting anybody for the last two days.
"It is very unlikely now that he will contest but even if he chooses to, he will have to fight as independent candidate," said sources close to him and the Bhajan Lal family in Chandigarh.
Earlier this month, Chander Mohan had staked claim from Panchkula and Kalka assembly segments but the Congress ignored him.
His brother Kuldeep Bishnoi has also closed the HJC's doors on him. "We will prefer to field Seema Bishnoi (Chander Mohan's wife), if she approaches us," Kuldeep Bishnoi said.
Chander Mohan became Chand Mohammad in December 2008 to marry Fiza. The whirlwind romance hit headlines across the nation and the two attended press conferences to swear their love for each other. But a few months later, differences sprang up between the couple and Chand went underground only to surface after weeks to claim he wanted to go back to his original wife.
Chander Mohan is a four-time Congress MLA from Kalka assembly constituency, which now has been divided into Kalka and Panchkula.
