Indian Law Society’s (ILS) Law College students have decided to present a detailed report to the University of Pune (UoP) regarding alleged flaws in the answer sheet evaluation pattern.

Many students of ILS Law College (in pic) have complaints about UoP’s examination department. “My observation is marks drastically increase during revaluation. When someone fails any subject, soon after he applies for a revaluation, he passes with distinction,” said Anand Thorange, a fourth year BSL student.

To substantiate his allegation, he said, “In the recent results declared by the UoP, as many as 85 students received 28 marks in political science paper. How could it be possible?”

Principal Vaijayanti Joshi said, “Many students came to my cabin on Tuesday with a demand of flawless paper evaluation system by the university. I advised them that rather making baseless allegations and organising a protest at UoP, they must make a study, try to establish the pattern in the recent results to substantiate their claims.”

After this discussion on Wednesday, Joshi has given a responsibility to two fourth year students to check the recently declared results of all the students in the college.

When contacted Dr Sampada Joshi, Controller of Examination (CoE) of UoP said, “I am in Mumbai. I heard about the unfortunate incident. But before checking the records it would not be appropriate to pass any comment. I will look in to it.”
